Networking is an important function for lawyers. Communicating with colleagues and related professionals keeps lawyers connected with others who are doing the same or similar work. It is a way of staying on top of developments in substantive and procedural changes that affect the daily practice of law. The Internet has created another way to network with other lawyers by the use of listservs and newsgroups. Included here are websites for locating archives of listservs and mailing lists. Archive sites generally hold postings from the last two to three years, although it varies from site to site. This list also contains sites for learning more about how to use listservs and newsgroups successfully.
